These specifications cover seamless and welded with and without filler metal austenitic stainless steel tubing.
Optional supplementary requirements are provided for tubing in these specifications for inclusion in the order. They address items such as additional testing and heat treatment.
Tubing having diameters other than those specified may be furnished, provided such tubes comply with all other requirements of the specification. Wall thickness may be specified as minimum or average wall with tolerances established in the specification.
