Forged Nickel Valves

  • The three main specifications listed provide the requirements for manufacture of a variety of forged items, including valves to industry standards such as ASME B16.34. These alloys are primarily selected for use in high temperature and/or corrosive environments.

Incoloy alloys 800H and 800HT are utilized in high temperature services where resistance to creep and rupture is required.

When availability of starting material is a problem, some manufacturers will offer valves machined from Nickel 200 and 201 B/SB160 bar and Incoloy 825 from B/SB425 bar. Customer approval may be required.
  • These three main specifications each have their own requirement for ordering material.
